The distinction between additive and subtractive color mixing offers a fascinating exploration into the interaction of light vs solid matter. Additive mixing, or blending light, results in vibrant hues glowing with increasingly blinding intensity. On the other hand, subtractive mixing of solid pigments reveals an interplay of absorption and reflection. Overlapping light rays yield nuanced deepening of hues and saturations. Through these contrasting approaches, we delve into the essence of color, exploring the expression between the tangible and intangible, material and immaterial.
