Office experience redesign: Envisioning the post-pandemic workspace for Delve’s San Francisco team
Overview
What
The San Francisco team of award-winning design consultant Delve is investigating moving into a new office space in fall 2022.
Drawing from the learnings of remote work from the COVID-19 pandemic, the team wanted the new office to be a hybrid, more flexible workspace that can accommodate both in-person and remote team members. Aside from that requirement, possibilities for the new office were an open sky, and Delve sought a clearer vision for the space. Stanford Women in Design (SWID) partnered with Delve to explore what the design and experience of that office space could look like.

Bonus: Moodboards
Moodboards are often used at Delve as an ideating tool, so we wanted to incorporate moodboards in this project. We organized moodboard activities to help Delve team members explore what their future San Francisco office space could look and be like in reality. Here are the results from those activities.
The first moodboard activity emphasized the team’s desired concepts and experiences of the new office, which were extracted from surveys and interviews.
The second moodboard activity focused on how to physically implement the principles from the previous activity with physical office design.
